Hello There,

I am Aaron Shirley owner of Memory Lane Events, it is so nice to meet you! I am the lead coordinator here and the one who helps to make all of your wedding dreams come true. I am a wife, daughter, sister, Dog AND Cat Mom, and an avid lover of Gluten-Free Pizza!! I have loved weddings ever since my first gig ( being a flower girl at age 3). Since then I moved from my hometown of Glasgow Kentucky to the big city of Nashville TN.

I went to college at Belmont University ( AGD for life!) and am pretty sure I indirectly created my own major in event planning. I got my start at Studiowed Nashville and quickly discovered that event planning was my dream job. I love that no two days and no two couples are the same. From dark and moody boho-styled weddings to light and airy photography, I love making all of the little pieces fall into place.

I am married to the love of my life Joe and we have four furbabies ( 3 cats and one dog). When it came time for us to get married I planned it all myself and got a day of coordinator. As amazing as she was and even given my experience I still felt very overwhelmed and alone occasionally throughout the planning process. I desperately wanted someone I could sit down and share my Pinterest board with, or someone I could vent to about the stress of planning over coffee. That is when I decided to start my own business where I could do just that for others. The looks of joy and gratitude on my client’s faces are what keep me going. I have never planned a wedding I didn’t shed a few happy tears at. To me this is way more than a career it is my calling, my source of joy and that one thing I feel like I was made to do.

When I’m not working you can find me binge-watching the latest episode of E-news! daily pop and keeping up with all of the celebrity news, throwing it back to Gilmore Girls, or going on hikes with my hubby and puppers. I love the city life but live in the backroads of Joelton TN ( 25 min from downtown Nashville). This helps me to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. I’ve never met a ranch dressing I didn’t love and 90’s pop music is my jam! My office looks like Elle Woods decorated it but I can still do a dark and moody wedding theme like nobody's business.
